Identity & website2024

Casa Alva

An identity and booking website for a twelve-room hotel by the sea in Comporta, built around light, linen and slow mornings.

The brief

Casa Alva is a restored farmhouse a few minutes from the beach in Comporta. The owners wanted to rely less on booking platforms and give guests a feeling for the place long before they arrived.

The approach

The identity borrows from the house itself: a lime-washed palette, a wordmark drawn from hand-painted tiles uncovered during the renovation, and photography shot entirely in natural light over three slow days.

Every room was photographed in morning light, without staging.

The website reads like a quiet magazine, with booking never more than a tap away.

The outcome

  • Direct bookings grew from 22% to 61% of revenue
  • Average stay lengthened from 2.4 to 3.6 nights
  • Summer season fully booked eight weeks after launch
